The Varsity Lacrosse Team hosted Steward School in a VISAA match-up which saw them victorious 13-5. A strong first half by the Tigers allowed them to create separation between the two teams and take a 8-1 lead in to half time. Steward showed a strong determination as they closed the gap 9-4 in the third quarter. The Tigers were took control of the game once again in the fourth quarter as they extended their lead to a final score of 13-5 with strong offensive and defensive performances. Chandler O’Connor, Connor Rogers, Charles Lee, Raines Wall and Austin Bennett all had notable performances on the Offensive end of the field, while Defensive Anchors Luke Dewiit, Robert Englander and Caleb Rogers played a great game. Goaltenders Harrison Slay and Hunter Howerton both saw action as well.
The Tigers take on Roanoke Catholic on March 25th at 5:00 pm at Vineyard Park in Roanoke.
