Tigers Beat VIC opponent North Cross 6 to 5

April 30, 2013

The Varsity Baseball team got a big win on Thursday, when the Tigers were able to defeat the Raiders of North Cross by a score of 6-5. Timely hitting and solid pitching were keys to the victory.

At the plate Hargrave was led by Patrick Hoffman (2 for 3), Chris Taylor (2 for 3), and Ryan Castellano (2 for 3). On the mound the Tigers got a great effort from Caleb Mishue (4-2). Caleb went the entire seven innings and strikingout 14.

With the win Hargrave improves to 8-3 overall and 6-0 in the VIC. The Tigers return to action on Friday, April 26th, when the Tigers play host to the Bulldogs of Liberty Christian Academy. First Pitch is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
