Hargrave JV squared off in a very physical bout against Tunstall High School in the first of two match-ups against them this season. Three pointers and finesse play would be at a premium here, as both teams did a great job of forcing turnovers and catching their opponent out of balance on offense. Spence Walker was able to make his presence felt in the paint by getting several pivotal rebounds throughout the game. The Tigers built a good lead early and were able to maintain it in spite of aggressive play on the part of the Trojans. In another game that came down to the final minutes, the Tigers pull out a 40-32 victory. Isaiah Guzman led the offensive charge with 13 points. The Hargrave JV has won four out of its past five, and is improving substantially with every game.
