Much like their game against Westover Christian earlier in the week, the Tigers took charge immediately and sprinted out to a five goal lead in the first 18 minutes of play. By the 34th minute, Hargrave’s lead had grown to 7-0, where the score would settle for the remainder of the match.
Hargrave, once again, had a balanced scoring attack that featured six different players finding the back of the net. Kyle Wint led the way with a brace, his 2nd and 3rd goals of the campaign. Tamino Brown’s 12th minute strike was his team- leading 4th of the season, while Samuel Gnihi (3rd), Chris Czarnecki (3rd), Ammar Al Aghbari (2nd) and Raines Wall (2nd) all contributed to the scoring as well. Fransisco Velasco-Lang recorded the lone assist in the match (his team leading 3rd of the season) on a beautiful through-ball to assist on Kyle Wint’s first goal.
Defensively the Hargrave line held tight as goalkeepers Henry Averett (5 saves) and Nick Rice (2) combined to record the Tigers’ first clean sheet of the season.
With the win, Hargrave moves to 2-0-1 on the young season.
