The Tigers continued their roll on Monday, securing their 4th straight victory with a decisive 76-51 triumph over the visiting Flames of Eastern Mennonite. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, claiming a 12 point lead after one quarter of play.
Hargrave was able to spread the ball around all evening, and the result was an outstanding 23 total team assists, 13 of which came from point guard Robert Tubbs.
In the scoring column, Jason Fields led the way once again, scoring a game-high 24 points and hauling in a team-high 8 rebounds. Tyler Chisholm matched his season scoring average exactly by chipping in 16 points (4 3-pointers, 5 assists) and Ben Dorfman scored a season high 12 points to round out the double-digit scorers.
Next up for the Tigers is a rivalry game against Liberty Christian Academy on Tuesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 in Lycnhburg.
