The Cross Country Team roared off the line and captured second place at the Miller Invitational on October 5, 2012.
In the quad meet against Miller School, Blue Ridge Academy and Virginia Episcopal school, Hargrave fell just nine points short of the overall win. With a third place finish overall, Cadet Emmanuel Clark led the scoring for the Tigers. A surprise second and third place finish for Hargrave by Cadets Edward Hoyas and Timothy Le propelled the Tigers past Blue Ridge and V.E.S. Hargrave scoring was rounded out by Cadets Mitchell Baker and Mengchu Zhao.
The following team members widen the gap on the toughest course in the conference. There were Cadets Joel Corpening, Daniel Koenig, Juni Piao, Wei An Chen, Nick Whitlock, Saul Snell, Marshall Lee, Junghyun You, David Price and Shijie Yang.
