The Tigers came out of the gate firing, with Kyle Piscotta scoring his first goal as a Hargrave Cadet just two minutes into the conest. Hargrave would follow up with a goal from Raines Wall four minutes later, and Wall would punch another one in in the 33rd minute. Wall’s goals were quickly followed by a goal from Senior Chris Czarnecki, giving the Tigers a decisive 4-0 halftime lead.
Hargrave would find the back of the net quickly after the break as well, with Senior Patrick Franzoni scoring to give the Tigers a 5-0 lead in the 48th minute. Lynchburg Homeschool would mount a furious comeback in the game’s final twenty minutes, but after a few key saves from Senior Nick Marsoonbian, Hargrave was able to hold on for the victory.
Seniors Patrick Franzoni, Chris Czarnecki, Nick Marsoobian, Gabriel Correia Cabral, Nick Rice and Jeremiah Ham were honored before the game. Coach Eubank added, “I am thankful for what our Senior class has given us throughout their careers. They will long be remembered for their roles in bringing the program back to prominence.”
