The Hargrave PG Tigers moved to 34-0 with a 102-87 victory over the UNC JV team. Playing in front of a mini-hostile crowd at the Dean Dome, the Tigers scored 40 fast break points and used the momentum of some impressive dunks by Montrezl Harrell (Virginia Tech) and Ryan Taylor to finish off the Tar Heels.
The Tigers were led by the double-double of Ryan Taylor, who finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Montrezl Harrell followed Taylor with 20 points of his own and 7 rebounds. Charles Haigler came off the bench to spark the Tigers with 11 points and 4 rebounds, while Andre Washington (Wake Forest) finished with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
