The Hargrave PG Basketball team took on the visiting UNC JV team Wednesday night at the Walter Davis Gymnasium in the Pepsi Fight against Cancer Challenge. The event held to raise money for cancer, with all proceeds from the event going to the Jimmy V foundation. In front of a sell out crowd, and everyone in the building dressed in pink, the Tigers defeated the Tar Heels 115-84.
The Tigers were led by Anton Gill (Louisville), who finished with 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Terry Rozier (Louisville) finished with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. Donte Clark (Virginia Tech) finished with 15 points and 2 steals. Shannon Evans (Buffalo) finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Gervelle Kidd (Hofstra) finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.
