Hargrave pushed it’s perfect start to 6-0 after a hard-fought road victory against Patrick Henry Community College. Hargrave came out in the first half with spurts that saw the lead grow as large as 14 points, but the Patriots battled back each time. The teams exchanged small leads in the second half before the Tigers pushed ahead down the stretch, earning a 109-103 win.
Connor Crabtree paced Hargrave in scoring once again, pouring in 26 points, including 6 3-pointers. Jules Moor added 19 points of his own, while Trey McGowens (18), Tre King (14), Jon Mebane (10) and Christian Lorng (10) all reached double figures in the balanced attack.
The Tigers will be back in action on Tuesday, November 14th, taking on St. Ignatios Prep. The tip-off is scheduled for 5:00pm in Walter Davis Gymnasium and is the last home game for the Tigers before Thanksgiving break.
