The second half saw much less play in the midfield and an even stronger showing by the Tigers offensively, but mistakes in organization by the Tigers’ defensive side of the ball allowed Holy Cross to score two quick goals because of one-on-one mistakes and problems organizing on the counterattack. Despite the Tigers’ strides to continue playing together, the final score did not reflect the true effort of the team and the possession of the Tigers.
Standouts this match were Mahmoud Gamil with 25 saves, Will Ward with 1 goal and gritty play up top, and Tyler Fallen with 4 shots on goal.
The Tigers will travel to Carlisle School Tuesday, September 18 for a match beginning at 4:30.
