Tigers fall to EMHS, 4-0

Coach Oditt

The Tigers traveled to Harrisonburg to take on Eastern Mennonite in their third game of the week. Coming off a 5-4 victory the previous night against Westover Christian Academy, the Tigers fell short losing 4-0 in a weather shortened game.

From the opening kick the Tigers took charge and dominated possession and were able to keep Eastern Mennonite in their own half. “I was really proud of entire team, they came out and put the foot to the pedal, we just rain out of steam towards the end,” stated Head Coach Jeremy Eubank. The game was scoreless for the first half despite the Tigers out shooting EMHS 10-7 in the first half. The Tigers were able to put a lot of pressure on the EMHS defense led by Raines Wall, Patrick Franzoni, and Chad Demarest.

“Although the score does not indicate how close the game was, I was pleased with the teamwork, attention to fundamentals.” stated Eubank.

The Tigers return home for a Tuesday game against Holy Cross at home starting at 4:30.
