Tigers Football kicks off season with a victory behind the support of an electric crowd!

Hargrave football opened the season with a 31-14 win over the Roanoke Spartans at Dick Dyer Field last Friday night!

The Tigers we backed by a loud and exciting crowd that helped push them to victory. The Tigers were lead by strong quarterback play by Ashton Hammock who tallied 2 rushing touchdowns. In addition, Alex Turner collected 2 touchdowns of his own while also making a SportsCenter Top 10 catch, and Tae Barbour had a long touchdown run the sealed the deal for the Tigers victory.

The Tigers are back in action this Friday, September 1 at 7:00PM against St. Annes-Belfield in Charlottesville Virginia.
