For their 5th game in 7 days, the Tigers of Hargrave Military Academy showed some signs of fatigue, but were able to power through for a 75-36 victory over Covenant, moving the Tigers to 15-3 on the season, 5-0 in the VIC Conference.
Hargrave’s constant pressure helped them build an eight point lead after the first quarter and with some hot shooting from John Kirkpatrick, they pushed their lead to 22 by halftime and up to 32 by the end of the third quarter. On the afternoon, Hargrave shared the ball very well with 20 assists to only 7 turnovers as they proved too much for the Eagles of Covenant as they earned a 75-36 victory.
