The Tigers lost a hard fought game to the Raiders of North Cross on Thursday by a score of 0-2. Starting pitcher Jordan Gee pitched a great game by going the distance. Gee’s numbers on the day were (14 Strike outs, 1 Walk, 2 earned runs, on 5 hits). Even though the Gee didn’t get the win, Coach Roach felt that this was one of his best outings of the year.
At the plate the Tigers were led by James Haas, Will Nichols, Jon Lee and Caleb Mishue.
With the loss the Tigers record falls to 9-6 Overall and 8-3 VIC. The Tigers will return to the Mound on Tuesday, May 10th, when the Tigers host the Mavericks of Miller School in the first round of the VIC Tournament. First pitch is schedule for 4:30 PM.
