The Tigers lost to Covenant by a score of 48 to 13. The Tigers scored twice in the first half on touchdown runs from Isaiah Guzman and Jason Fields. The defense struggled early in the game but was able to come out in the second half and play much better.
Despite the score there were many highlights on the night. Isaiah Guzman lead the team in rushing with 122 yards on only 8 carries. He had a touchdown run of 45 yards. Myles Regan lead the defense with 12 tackles on the night. Trenton Lovelace also added 6 tackles on the night. Defensive End Ben Dorfman contributed with a great interception deep inside Covenant’s territory.
The Tigers look to get back to winning this Friday night against Nelson County. The game is set to start at 7:00 pm at Nelson County.
