The Hargrave Military Academy JV football team opened its season Friday night with a 20-0 loss to North Raleigh Christian Academy.
The Tigers faced a challenging matchup against an NRCA squad playing its third game of the season, while Hargrave was taking the field for the first time. Despite the early-season disadvantage, the game provided valuable experience for the Tigers as they continue to develop and build chemistry.
Hargrave will look to use the lessons from its season opener to prepare for the games ahead.
