The Hargrave Tiger Track and Field team traveled @ North Stokes Track and Field Jamboree, Danbury NC for the first meet of the season. Al though our boys didn’t place, we had several new runners and jumpers step up and gain valuable experience. Ethan Mitchell placed 6th in the 110 Hurdles with a time of 20.64, while Leon Qin threw 113-3 in discus and 38-8 in shot put. In the long jump, Emmanuel Guishard hit 17-10, followed by CJ Tucker (14-4) and Jojo Harris Smith (13-6). On the track, Chandler Owens ran a 12.33 in the 100m, Guishard (12.51), Lanier (12.63), Harris Smith (13.89), and Tucker (14.66).
This was a strong showing for our first-timers, and we’re only getting better from here. Great job, boys—let’s keep improving!
