In VIC Conference action on Thursday evening, the Hargrave Tigers took another step forward, winning their tenth straight game over Holy Cross by a final score of 94-49. The Tigers move to 19-3 overall and 8-0 in conference play with the win.
The Tigers controlled the tempo and dominated the game from the opening tip-off. Hargrave utilized an early 12-0 run to start the game and never looked back as they led 33-7 after the first quarter. The stout defense continued throughout the entire 32 minute game as the Tigers amassed 52 deflections, forced 35 turnovers, and grabbed 40 rebounds (20 offensive rebounds) in their victory.
