On Saturday the Cross Country Team participated in the VIC Conference Championship where they placed fourth overall.
“Our goal was to improve our time on this course; I felt if we could do that then the outcome would be what it should be. Maybe not what we wanted it to be, but what it should be,” according to Head Coach, LTC Mike Broomell.
Parts of the course were muddy and slippery. Our runners had an uphill battle.
Gabe Medlin earned All Conference honors placing fourth overall (17:47)(-23 sec.). Tyler Morris who fell during the race (18:50)(+25 sec.), Hamza AlTell (19:22 sec)(-34), Rashed Khraisat (20:33)(-14 sec.) and Aidan Thomas (21:22)(-1:6 sec.) all scored for the Tigers. Walter Thompson (21:36)(-1:12) and Hunter Adkins (23:40)(+16) rounded out the field for Hargrave.
