Hargrave placed third by a narrow margin, falling to Virginia Episcopal School (first place) and Roanoke Catholic (second place) in the New Covenant Invitational on Tuesday.
Gabe Medlin placed third overall (18:10) while Tyler Morris placed fourth overall (18:25). Hamza Al-Tell, Rashed Khraisat, and Aidan Thomas all scored for the Tigers. Gage Crisp, Walter Thompson, Hunter Adkins, and Bennett Soles rounded out the field for Hargrave.
By comparison, all Hargrave runners who ran this same course two weeks earlier improved their times: Medlin (30 seconds), Morris (56 seconds), Khraisat (1:59), Crisp (54 seconds), Thompson (8 seconds), Adkins (5 seconds), and Soles (10 seconds).
The Tigers will be back in action on Tuesday, October 16th as they head to Waynesboro, Virginia to run against Fishburne Military School.
