The Tigers were back in action after the Thanksgiving break last night, traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina to take on Guilford College. The Tigers didn’t show any lag from the turkey, cruising to a decisive 115-72 victory.
Clayton Hughes had a monster game for Hargrave, lighting up the scoreboard to the tune of 39 points, including a 10-14 performance from the 3-point line. The points and three pointers made both mark season-highs for the Tigers. Braxton Beverly (16) , Brandon Knapper (13) and Justin Brown (10) also reached double figures in the contest, with Naji Marshall impacting the game all over with 16 rebounds and 6 assists.
The Tigers now sit at 11-0 on the season, and are currently ranked #1 in the nation by all major polls. The win also extends their win streak to 41 games dating back to last season. They will be back in action on Sunday in the Legacy Nissan Classic in London,KY. They take on 22FT Academy at 7:00pm.
