The Wrestling Team traveled to Chatham High on Saturday, January 12, 2013, to take part in an eight team tournament. The Tigers finished the day in 3rd place over all with a 3-2 record, despite injuries to several key wrestlers. Leading the charge for Hargrave were Cadets Daniel Koenig and Logan Mitchell, who were both 5-0 on the day. Cadets Dakota Wetherbee (4-1), Joel Corpening (3-2) and Will Glenn (4-0) were also key to our success. Cadet Blake Moore was on a nice win streak when he was injured and had to with draw from competition as well.
The team is off this week, but will return to the mat next Tuesday to open up the Conference season at LCA.
