Tigers Victorious in Home Opener

December 9, 2018

The middle school basketball team got their first win of the season today by defeating James River Day School by a score of 49-39, in the friendly confines of Walter Davis Gymnasium.

Leading the way for the young Tigers was T.J. Miller (29 Points, 5 Rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 Assist). Both Malachi Jackson (12 Points, 8 Rebounds, and 2 Steals) and Samuel Hurt (4 Points and 8 Rebounds) also performed very well in the paint, while Noah Clinton (4 Points and 3 Steals) played well out on the wing.

The young Tigers will return to the court on Monday, December 10th, when they travel to take on the Raiders of North Cross. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
