The Hargrave Wrestling team opened their season this weekend with a very successful effort at the Tiger Invitational. Hargrave finished 1st out of eight teams with an impressive 161 team points. The team won 10 individual medals including two first place finishes by seniors Nigel Cawthon at the 285 lbs. weight class and Cody Day at the 220 lbs. weight class. The other placers in the event were:
Daniel Koenig – 3rd place at 106 lbs.
Blake Moore – 3rd place at 113 lbs.
Emanuel Clark – 3rd Place at 120 lbs.
Dakota Wetherbee – 3rd Place at 126 lbs.
Christian Mitchell – 2nd place at 145 lbs.
Camara Thomas – 3rd place at 152 lbs.
Brandon Beavers – 3rd place at 160 lbs.
Marcus Chase – 2nd place at 195 lbs.
