The Tigers found their first win of the 2012 season against the Gaels of Holy Cross. After being outshot for the first half of the game, the Tigers came back with two goals after halftime. The first goal for the Tigers came off the cleats of Gabriel Correia; who managed to win a ball inside the box to give the Tigers the lead. The Tigers kept the pressure and a second goal would follow by Hoatian Liu to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.
Minutes away from the final whistle, the Gaels responded with one goal and continued to pressure our defense, but the good defensive work led by team captain Caleb Wood kept them at bay to allow the Tigers to come out on top.
