Tigers win Game 1 of Ironton Classic

The Hargrave PG Tigers defeated United Faith Christian 115-79 in Game 1 of the Ironton Classic. The Ironton Classic, which is one of the biggest Christmas tournaments on the East coast, featured teams from North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, and Ohio.

The Tigers were led by Jake Handshoe (Mars Hill), who came off the bench and went 6-7 from the 3-point line and finished with 20 points in the second half . Greg McClinton (Wake Forest) finished with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Terry Rozier (Louisville) finished with 18 points, 7 steals, and 5 rebounds. Anton Gill (Louisville) & Shannon Evans (Buffalo) both finished with 16 points and 3 rebounds each.
