The 2004 Short Course A/BB Championship was an exciting culmination to the hard work for several team members. Outstanding performances were turned in by Jesse Conner in the boy’s 10 & Under 200y IM, 2nd at 2:53.44; Jennifer Murphy in the girl’s 11-12 200y Breaststroke, 3rd at 2:50.18; and Drew Bennett’s back to back performance with his 1650y Freestyle and 200y Backstroke, 2nd in the 1650y Freestyle at 20:07.80 and 13th in the 200y Backstroke at 2:25.85.
Other top eight swims included: Jessica Abbott, age 11 of Republican Grove, 4th 500y Freestyle, 5:52.16, 6th 200y Butterfly, 2:38.56; Jacob Conner, age 13 of Danville, 7th 500y Freestyle, 5:33.19; Morgan dePaulo, age 13 of Chatham, 5th 1650y Freestyle, 21:49.50; CJ Olp, age 14 of Blairs, 3rd 1000y Freestyle, 12:26.77.
