The Hargrave Aquatics brought home 11 first place finishes from the Gator Halloween Classic.
Leading the effort was team talent Jessica Abbott with six first-place finishes, one second-place finish and a fifth-place finish out of eight individual events. Abbott competes in the 11-12 Girl’s division.
Jesse Conner entered eight events in the 9-10 year old Boy’s division and brought home two second-place finishes, two thirds, three fourths, and a fifth. It should be noted that one of his thirds is from the 12&Under 500y Freestyle event, where he came close to capturing the team’s 10&Under 500y Freestyle record.
Andrew Hetzner tallied two firsts, a second and a third in the senior male division.
Jennifer Murphy, competing in the 11-12 Girl’s division, entered eight events and captured two firsts, a second, a third, two fourths and two fifth place finishes.
This was the first meet for most of the new 12&Unders on the team. Hargrave Aquatics introduced several new athletes to USA Swimming competition. Congratulations to all the athletes that participated.
