David West, age 12, represented our team well at his first Zone Championship meet.
West set out to be a member of the 2006 Summer Zone team at the beginning of his summer training. While not hitting best times at the meet, his Zone event was eye-opening and a solid learning experience for goal setting in the upcoming short course season.
Rumor is he wants to return to the water and get started soon.
