The first meet of year for Hargrave Aquatics was a very successful meet. By the meet’s end. the team had total seven new team records and a 10th place finish out of 24 teams participating.
Andrew Hetzner led the way with four new individual team records as well as being a part of two relay records. Andrew set records in the 1000 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle and the 200 IM.
Jacob Conner set a new team record in the 1000 Freestyle for 13-14 boys. Patrick Wheatley was a part of the 200 Medley Relay record, while the team of Mike Wheeler and Josh Carden joined Hetzner to set both the 200 Medley and 200 Free Relay records. James Eu was also apart of that 200 Free Relay team.
Other swimmers attending the meet were Lauren Hines, Ann O’Brien, Brittney Abbott, CJ Olp, Drew Bennett, and Cameron McKinney. All total, the team achieved 59 lifetime best swims out of 80 total swims. My hat is of to the team. A job very well done, and keep up the good work.
