The Varsity Baseball team earned a hard-fought victory over the Bishops of Virginia Episcopal School on Tuesday by a score of 19-2.
Great pitching was the key to the game for the Tigers, as Juniors Shane Bousman and Caleb Mishue combined to pitch five complete innings, while only giving up one hit and striking out eleven.
At the plate the Tigers were led by Ryne Sigmon, Will Nichols, Markel Owens, and Vaughan Nunn. With the win Hargrave improves to 6-7 overall and 4-2 in the VIC.
Hargrave returns to action on Thursday, April 19th, when the Tigers play host to the Gaels of Holy Cross. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
