The Varsity Baseball team earned a hard-fought victory over the Raiders of North Cross School on Tuesday by a score of 4-1. Great pitching was the key to the game for the Tigers, as Senior Chris Campbell pitched seven complete innings, while only giving up three hits and striking out eleven. At the plate the Tigers were led by Chris Taylor, Jordan Gee, Chris Campbell and Ryne Sigmon. With the win Hargrave improves to 10-7 overall and 6-2 in the VIC.
Hargrave returns to action on Thursday, May 3, when the Tigers travel to Harrisonburg to take on the Eastern Mennonite. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
