The Varsity Baseball team got a hard fought victory over the Bulldogs of Martinsville High School on Saturday by a score of 23 – 0. Great pitching was the key to the game for the Tigers, as Junior Caleb Mishue pitched five complete innings, while only giving up one hit and striking out nine. At the plate the Tigers were led by Cory Wood, Ryne Sigmon, Chris Taylor, and Jordan Gee. With the win Hargrave improves to 8-7 overall and 5-2 in the VIC.
Hargrave returns to action on Monday, April 23rd, when the Tigers play host to the Bengals of Bassett High School. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
