The Varsity baseball team jumped on Blue Ridge in the first inning and never looked back, beating Blue Ridge 9-3.
Hargrave got a leadoff double by Darrell Smith, a single by Warren Bailey, then back to back to back doubles by Logan Barker, Mark Loving, and Landis Gee, to plate four runs in the first inning.
Hargrave added three more runs in the 3rd inning from a second double by Darrell Smith and a second double by Mark Loving. The last two runs came in the fourth inning off Barker’s second double and an RBI single by Loving.
The Tigers will be back in action Wednesday afternoon, traveling to Covenant for a 4:30 PM game.
