In one of the state’s most heated rivalries, Hargrave prevailed 85-53 over Fork Union. It was a complete team win that saw all 18 guys play. Fork Union is such a difficult atmosphere to play in when their Corps of Cadets is in attendance, but our young men kept their composure and played together as a team.
After a slow start and a back and forth first half, the Tigers took a 40-32 lead into halftime. In the third quarter, Hargrave came out strong and held Fork Union to just 6 points and the Tigers increased their advantage to 67-38, which ultimately decided the game.

The Tigers take the floor again tomorrow, Friday evening December 2, against conference opponent, Holy Cross.
