The Tigers returned to conference action with a victory over the Flames of Eastern Mennonite High School. Pressure defense saw Hargrave jump out to a 25-14 first quarter lead. That lead grew to 57-30 by half-time. The Flames continued to play hard in the second half, but struggled to cut down the lead as the Tigers pulled away for a 95-68 win. Thirteen different Tigers scored in the contest. The win puts the Tigers at 14-4 (9-2) on the season.
Hargrave was led by Lyndon Massenburg with 17 points. Also contributing was Jordan Gee with 15 points and 8 rebounds, Malik Clements with 11 points, and Malachi Paige with 11 points and 8 assists.
