The Tigers returned from the Christmas break with a 78-62 win over the Chiefs from Carlisle School. On the road, Hargrave fell behind by one point at the end of the first quarter. Solid defense and offensive rebounding in the second quarter propelled the Tigers to a 37-26 halftime lead. The Chiefs were unable to mount a comeback, as the Tigers stretched the lead to 18 points in the second half before winning by 16.
Hargrave was led by Avery Johnson with 23 points and 17 rebounds. Jordan Gee chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds and Will Bartholomew tallied 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.
