The Tigers dropped a close game to the Covenant School, 66-58. Hargrave came out in a flurry, attacking Covenant and jumping to an 18-12 first quarter lead. Covenant used three 3 pointers to reclaim the lead in the second quarter, going into the locker room up 32-26. The Tigers were able to cut the lead to 6 with four minutes left in the fourth. Then Covenant converted on back-to-back three point plays to stretch their lead to 12. Hargrave was unable to overcome this bulge in the final minutes of the game.
Hargrave was lead by Zach Edmunds with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Danny Smith tallied 14 points and 5 assists. Rounding out the effort was James Long with 12 points and Saquan Darby with 8 points and 3 assists.
