The Tigers played on back to back nights and were edged out, 55-57, by the Dan River Wildcats on Friday. Capitalizing on 4 of 26 shooting by the Tigers, the Wildcats jumped out to a 30-15 lead at halftime.
After making adjustments, the most important being intensity on defense. The Tigers stormed back into the game, outscoring the Wildcats 25-10 in the third quarter. After going back and forth in a hotly contested fourth, the Tigers succumbed to poor freethrow shooting and the hard work of the Wildcats.
The Tigers were lead by Nick Barr (20 pts, 5 rebs, 4 stls), Karson Mott (11 pts, 7 rebs, 6 stls), and Josh Rudolph (11 pts, 6 rebs, 2 stls). Coming off the bench and providing a much needed spark were Mike Lee and James Crockett.
