The Tigers came roaring out of the gate on Senior Night while facing the Cassions of Fishburne Military School. An early ten point first quarter lead was reduced to five by the Cassions as they withstood the emotions of the night. The second quarter saw no change as the Tigers took a 35-30 lead into halftime. The Cassions came out in the third quarter and battled, but were unable to cut into the lead. A strong performance by Kyle Rhoades off the bench in the fourth quarter helped the Tigers push the lead out to 18 points with three minutes left in the game. Fishburne’s rally fell short in a 75-65 win for the Tigers.
Hargrave was led by Avery Johnson with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Also contributing were J.D. Misenheimer with 18 points and 5 assists, Javonte Rankin with 16 points and 8 assists, Kyle Rhoades with 10 points and 9 rebounds, and Jordan Gee with 10 points and 8 rebounds.
