Hargrave stepped out of conference play to host the Blue Devils of Fork Union Military Academy. The Tigers played terrific first half defense, but struggled to score in the second quarter, trailing 21-13 at halftime. A furious second half comeback was derailed by poor foul shooting, as the Tigers dropped 48-55.
Hargrave was led by Avery Johnson with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Danny Smith contributed 11 points and 5 assists in the loss.
