The Tigers dropped a conference road game to the Bulldogs of Liberty Christian Academy, 41-52. Hargrave came out of the gate playing tough defense, using this effort to grab a second quarter lead for a time. The Bulldogs clawed back into the game a tied the score before half-time.
Coming out of half-time, the Tigers were plagued by poor ball handling and decision making, racking up a season high 14 turnovers. Unable to overcome these mistakes, Hargrave trailed 28-34 at the end of the third quarter. In the fourth, Nick Barr scored 7 of his team high 20 in a come back attempt. The Bulldogs were able to make 7 of 10 free throws down the stretch to ice the game. The Tigers were lead in rebounding by Brian Sigmon with 7. Hargrave Military Academy returns to play Friday night at Roanoke Catholic. Tip time is set for 6:30.
