Varsity Basketball vs. Lynchburg Christian Academy

The Tigers suffered a tough loss to the Bulldogs of Liberty Christian School (#3 ranked Div. II) 70-48. Leading the way for the Tigers were junior Andrew Pughsley (19 pts., 5 rebs., and 3 steals) and freshman Victor Ibeh (15 pts., 9 rebs., and 2 steals). Junior Nick Barr (8 pts., 2 rebs., 2 steals and 3 assist) and junior Jeffery Oboite (5 pts., 5 rebs., and 2 blocks) also had solid games on both ends of the floor. With the loss Hargrave’s record falls to 8-12 overall and 5-10 VIC. The Tigers return to action on Friday, Feburary 17th, when they will host Roanoke Catholic (#1 ranked Div. II). Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
