Hargrave traveled to Charlottesville to take on the defending VIC Champion Miller School. Miller began the game 11-15 from the field, jumping to a first quarter lead of 27-10. A defensive second quarter put the score at 35-14 at half.
The Tigers came back in the second half behind a solid defensive effort. During a fourth quarter run the Tigers were able to close the gap to 12, but were unable to get any closer. The Miller School pulled away with a 61-41 victory.
Hargrave Military Academy was lead by a break out night for James Crockett (10 pts, 4 rebs) and Josh Rudolph (10 pts, 5 rebs). The Tigers return to action Dec 19, with a home game against Dan River High School.
