Varsity Basketball vs. Timberlake Christian School

May 26, 2011

The boy’s varsity basketball team was able to pick up their second victory of the season with a hard fought victory over a scrappy Timberlake Christian Academy.

The Tigers were led on offense by the duo of Ryan King (23 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals) and James Eversley (22 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks). Seniors Clarence Conrad (17 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals) and Jarod Leaper (6 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals) also had solid games on both ends of the floor.

With the win the Tigers record improves to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the VIC. The Tigers will now travel to Lynchburg for the VES Invitational. Game times are scheduled for Friday at 6:30 PM. Saturday’s games will tip-off at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
