HMA 70 – WCA 55
The boy’s varsity basketball team started the 2004-2005 season with a victory over a scrappy Westover Christian Academy. Leading the way for the Tigers on offense was James Eversley (24 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks), Ryan King (17 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 4 steals), Clarence Conrad (11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assist, and 4 steals). Chris Smoot (13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assist) also had a solid night coming off the bench. Jarod Leaper, Terry Teal, and Matt Reynolds also played extremely well in support. With the win the Tigers record begins at 1-0 overall and 1-0 VIC. The Tigers return home to play Timberlake Christian Academy on Tuesday, December 7th. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
