The Cross Country Team placed 7th in the Virginia Independent Conference Meet in spite of not having two injured runners who usually score.
Several Tigers stepped up to fill the gap in windy and rainy conditions on the hilly course. James Burke came in first for the Tigers, posting almost a five minute improvement over the same course in the first meet of the season. James Spencer who ran strong for the Tigers all season scored second. Nigel Hodge ran his best race of the season and scored third. Aaron Montgomery scored fourth, and Sam Smith scored fifth. Sam also ran his best race of the season and scored for the first time. Clarence Bell and Benjamin Kauffman rounded out the field for Hargrave.
All of the runners posted quicker times then when they ran on the course earlier in the year.
In the developmental race both Jeffery Lowen and Dakota Wetherbee represented Hargrave well. Jeff ran his best race of the season and placed 12th overall.
