The VIC Golf Tournament took place on Monday, May 7, at Goodyear Golf Course. The tigers finished third in a field of 13. Carlisle won with a score of 312. VES squeezed by HMA by 3 strokes, 348 to 351, to come in second. Fourth place went to Fishburne at 358. Other schools participating were: Covenant 364, Roanoke Catholic 369, Timberlake Christian 377, Westover Christian and Holy Cross at 381, North Cross 407, Eastern Mennonite 408, Liberty Christian 418, and Roanoke Valley who only sent 3 golfers.
Making All-Conference for Hargrave were Colin Flabbi at 82 and Clayton Moss at 84. Also scoring for the tigers were Steven Hancock at 91 and John Mathena at 94. Right behind them were Jordan Marshall 95 and Walker Gladding 97. Other team members this year included Nathan Capo, Charles Russell, Hunter Sanford, and Andrew Tallon. The season ended with an over-all record of 11-3.
