Hargrave 14 – Fork Union 5
The Hargrave Varsity Lacrosse Team took to the field Thursday to do battle with Division II rival Fork Union Military Academy.
The Tigers played some of their best team lacrosse of the year as Senior JC Shelton lead the attack with 6 goals and 1 assist. Midfielders Aaron Montgomery and Reeves Hollar both had solid performances anchoring the midfield effort. Jack Neblett, John Kneppler, and Sam Koelewjin all played excellent games on the defensive end of the field. Senior Goalie Stefan Taylor returned to action after missing the last two games do to illness and recorded 22 saves on the day.

This was a big win for the Tigers as it was their first win against a Division II team in several seasons. The Tigers will take to the field Saturday Night at 6:00 in their final home game of the season against South County Lacrosse Club.
